The North Haven Democratic Town Committee (DTC) is proud to announce the election of Tim Gabriele as its new Chair. A dedicated community leader and active DTC member, Tim brings a wealth of experience, passion, and vision to this vital role.

Tim previously served as Deputy Secretary of the DTC and is an active member of the Activism/Issues, Communications, and Bylaws committees. Professionally, he is a Senior Administrative Assistant at Yale School of Management, with a background as a freelance and professional writer.

In a recent statement, Tim shared his excitement about stepping into the Chair role:"It has been a strange and circuitous path that brought me here, but I couldn’t be prouder to help guide the incredibly kind, thoughtful, and dedicated individuals in our membership towards a more (capital D) Democratic and (lowercase d) democratic North Haven. This is our town, and this is our time. And I’m ready to get to work."

His involvement extends to various community organizations, showcasing his dedication to fostering inclusivity, equity, and social justice.

Outgoing Chair Lori Struzinski expressed her confidence in Tim’s leadership:"Tim embodies the values of compassion, transparency, and inclusivity that have defined our committee. His vision and energy will undoubtedly guide the DTC toward a brighter future for North Haven."

The North Haven DTC also acknowledges the contributions of its previous leaders and members who have paved the way for this new chapter, including Vice Chair Stephen Gifford, Secretary Eileen Honan Stabbe, and Treasurers Kieran Ahern and  Lisa Leamon, whose dedication and expertise have strengthened the committee’s foundation.

As Chair, Tim aims to build on the DTC’s momentum by focusing on collaboration, community care, and empowering members to dream big and take bold steps toward a better North Haven.
