As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, the North Haven Democratic Town Committee would like to take a moment to reflect on the values and blessings that unite us as a community.

This year, we’ve seen the power of connection, collaboration, and determination in action. From neighborhood events to town hall meetings, from advocating for equity to supporting our schools and environment, the heart of North Haven has been on full display. Our town thrives because of the people who care deeply about making it a welcoming, vibrant, and fair place for all.

We are thankful for the tireless volunteers who dedicate their time to local causes, from creating a school district that is welcoming and equitable, to providing neighbors rides to the polls. Your efforts are the backbone of our community and serve as a reminder that true change happens when neighbors come together.

We are thankful for the educators, healthcare workers, first responders, and public servants who keep North Haven strong and safe. Your commitment to serving others inspires us to work harder for policies and initiatives that uplift everyone in our town.

We are thankful for the advocates and activists who stand up for what’s right, ensuring that every voice in North Haven is heard and valued. Your courage and persistence fuel our mission to create a more equitable and inclusive community.

And most importantly, we are thankful for you—the residents of North Haven—who continue to believe in the power of local government and grassroots action. Whether it’s attending meetings, voting in elections, or simply engaging in conversations about our town’s future, your involvement makes a difference.
