Meet Mike Hallahan: Candidate for North Haven Board of Finance

Mike Hallahan brings nearly two decades of proven experience and dedication to his role on the North Haven Board of Finance, where he has served since 2005 and as Board Secretary since 2013. His steady leadership and deep understanding of municipal finance have helped guide North Haven through changing economic times with a focus on fiscal responsibility and community priorities.

In addition to his service on the Board of Finance, Mike was a member of the Open Space Advisory Committee from 2009 to 2013, contributing to the preservation and thoughtful use of North Haven’s natural resources.

Mike is also an active community leader through the Rotary Club of North Haven, where he has been a member since 2004 and served as President in 2012–2013. He continues to give back as a Trustee of the North Haven Rotary Foundation and as Assistant to the Treasurer.

Professionally, Mike is the owner and independent contractor at Appraisal Associates of CT, bringing business expertise and real-world financial knowledge to his public service.

A proud UConn graduate with a B.S. in Business Finance (1982), Mike furthered his education with a Master’s in Organizational Leadership (2008) from Quinnipiac University. His blend of financial acumen, leadership skills, and commitment to public service make him a strong voice for responsible budgeting and community investment on the Board of Finance.
